Chirayinkeezhu, a centre of harmony, integrity, and cultural heritage, is known for Sarkara Devi temple, Kattumuraakkal Juma-Masjid, and churches of different dioceses. The village is situated on the banks of the Trivandrum-Kadinamkulam waterway. This unique village gave birth to the evergreen actor prodigy Padmabhushan Premnazir, Master of dramatic theatre G Shankarapillai, Bharat Gopi, Artist Sreekhandan Nair, veteran actor GK Pillai, singer Brahmanandan, and others in the field of culture.
Chirayinkeezhu Taluk welfare Association(CWA) which has its roots in Gulf Countries, is organised by the expatriates (Pravasees) who have their base in Chirayinkeezhu. The Association envisions maintaining a common area or platform for the members who worked towards launching such an association years back at their workplaces in the Gulf Countries and are now settled in their home ground.
It is a non-profit social-based organisation that manages shared facilities, addresses concerns of the members, and acts as a bridge between authorities for collective well-being and improving living standards. The Association is governed by elected members and is legally registered.
Mission
The MISSION of the Association is to organise social, religious, cultural, health, safety, and educational funding from time to time wherever it seems needy.
Vision
The VISION of the Association is creating a sense of brotherhood, love, and affection among the members and making best efforts for the promotion and development of the association and helping those in distress.

Membership is primarily open to individuals from Chirayinkeezhu Taluk who have worked in Gulf countries. We welcome those who were part of the initial launch of such associations abroad and are now either settled back home or are still active expatriates looking to stay connected with their roots.
